Hi folks!
I put the Facebook page up today for the store. The painting is done and we can start arranging stuff. Having fun!

Lisa,
I find it very hard to get anything done after a vacation. We are always exhausted when returning home from all the running around, sight seeing, weird food and schedules. Take it easy and just chill. Everything will still be there when you are acclimated and rested. Hugs, Sharon
Hi Lisa and Peeps,
Today is my mom's birthday. May was always a big month for her with Mother's Day and her birthday in the same week. Miss her so much......
Today I am going to the chiro's and then who knows??
This weather is so cold and rainy. My lawn looks gorgeous though. I am looking forward to some sunshine.
Have a lovely day inspite of this weird weather.
Hugs,
Sharon
GoodMorning,
This week has been nuts on me. I am not getting anything done, so it seems. This morning I have a Dr. appointment, here in town, I want to stop at the $ tree for some wrapping stuff for Morgan"s birthday present, do some other stops, and clean house.
My granddaughter will be 16 on Tuesday. It doesn't seem possible that she is that old. I still think of her as that cute cuddly child that would snuggle up with me at night, and offer hugs for everything. She is turning into a lovely young woman, who is still lovable and caring.
What is everyone up to?
Have a great, if rainy day.
Hugs,
Sharonif I can stay on the medifast and survive you can go to the gym!!!!!! When I come to Chicago in June we will go to the gym together! I promise!
Carla
Hi Peeps,
Carla, I am proud of you. I have toyed with the idea of having another procedure but know my sleeve still works, I just need to stay away from those rotten carbs. Today I am going to an aerobics class at the gym. It has been 8 months since my year long membership at Tinley Fitness ended and I started working and, and and....so many excuses. Now looking back, I realize they are just that....dumb excuses. I have a wedding in a month and would like to lose 10 lbs. Seems like an impossibility right now.
I am glad that 1 day thing is gone. It was short but mighty. It came on fast and left just as quickly.
Well, I never got my last paycheck. Apparently my contract indicated leaving with no notice can result in this. I guess my contract also saying I was to only work 24-30 hours per week and my never working less than 45 means nothing. Actually, this makes me feel less guilty about the way I left.
So I am off to the gym. My gym bag has been packed for 2 months and has been in my back seat for just as long........lets see how this goes.
Hugs!
Sharon
Sharon- No biggie. I hope you feel better. Maybe we can meet up next week
Dawn- We definitely have to make that trip to Champaign together. that would be so much fun!!!
We/me have been so busy. Serving at church, work, family time, medical, visiting Cantigny, travel, training and more training tomorrow. This past week-end (Sunday) was our 40th anniversary. We spent Friday through Monday afternoon in the Loop going to the Lincoln Park Conservatory, zoo (I never get tired of this zoo), double decker bus tour, Sound of Music, walk, walk, walk (over 25 miles), awesome food, learning to take pictures with the new camera, enjoying the weather and city (as we always do) and reflecting on our years together.
Now, I am looking forward to the training with the Chief's Admin Assistant tomorrow. Saturday I have a pick-up for my flowers from the local garden club and I guess I will be putting them in the containers on Sat/Sun. In addition to that I need to get my square foot boxes ready for my veggies. I planted garlic last fall and it is coming up wonderfully.
This morning while I was getting ready for work my late mom and sister - Grace "visited" me in the form of a hummer at my feeder. You see my mom and sister (both named Grace) loved and attracted these little flying "jewels" to our homes.
